Dalljiet Kaur Divorce Hearing Update: Actress Daljeet Kaur’s dispute with husband Nikhil Patel continues. Today, there was a hearing of their divorce in Kenya court and Daljeet shared an update on this on Instagram. The actress had told that the police has assured her that they have enough evidence to prove Nikhil Patel guilty. However, Daljeet later deleted the post.
Daljeet had written- ‘Today I had a court hearing in Kenya. For all those who want to know what is happening. His lawyer is proving only one thing to the judge that no marriage took place. While filing the FIR, the Indian police told me that if he denies the marriage, then tradition along with witnesses are enough to put him behind bars.’
Attack on ex-husband’s family
The actress further wrote- ‘Let’s see what happens, but it is a matter of shame for him and his family that he refused to marry. @WATUKENYA did your top leaders participate in a cultural event? Didn’t you all invite a wife to all your functions? Or was I a mistress who was invited?’
Said this about divorce
Daljeet further wrote in the post- ‘It is interesting to know the legal undertaking which was to convince my parents that you guys will not commit fraud and will continue to register when the decree comes. Now it is being told that this was a statement of not getting married. Why did your lawyer call me and tell me that the divorce has been signed and it is not being opposed? And that too on the basis of the divorce that has been signed. Your ex-wife took the young child to America.’
‘You should have told me this on Karva Chauth too…’
Daljeet did not stop here, she further mentioned- ‘I am ashamed of you that you are proving that you are not married to me. You should have told me this on Karva Chauth too, where I was fasting for my husband till 11:30 pm. Instead, I should have tasted the food that day. You should be ashamed Nikhil.’
Daljeet deleted the post
In the end, the actress writes- ‘I am enough for myself and I am not afraid of those who would rather hide in the closet than support me at this time. I made friends thinking that all of you are like Indians who support the truth. Let us tell you that shortly after writing such a long post, Daljeet also deleted it.
